As a group we are niche' providers of professional and specialist Contract and Project Management resources:
We have three entry points to our central business model being:

3) www.businessprojects.co.za - Specialist PROJECT MANAGEMENT services
We are therefore not a generalist recruitment agency, but rather a community driven business which specialises in the placement of professional Contract and Project Management resources in particular.
In addition to the above – we also provide specialist Human Resource Consulting/Advisory/Project Management services, focused upon optimising business performance.

Wally McLaren

Between us we have in excess of 55 years of business experience, of which 45 years have been at senior and executive management levels. This includes 35 years - specifically in the field of Human Resource Management and Consulting.
Nicky McLaren
Nicky has a passion for people and has worked in Human Resources for the past 19 years in many different capacities and in many different industries.
Nicky majored in Psychology at the University of KZN and then went further to qualify as a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming from the University of Potchefstroom (now University of North West).
Nicky has been self employed as a professional HR Consultant and HR Strategist for the past 15 years and excels in large scale HR projects which she has frequently undertaken during her career.

Wally McLaren
Wally is a highly experienced professional Business Strategist - with around 37 years of business, leadership and consulting experience in South Africa.
For the first 19 years of his career - Wally established his career in the Financial Services industry in South Africa - where he held many senior management and leadership positions.
Wally therefore has a unique and deep understanding of “the world of banking” in South Africa in particular.
Wally then continued his career in the field of financial services – this time at Daimler Chrysler Financial Services when he was approached to join a small project team to assist with the set up of the Daimler Financial Services business in South Africa.
This small project team made up of professionals from UK , Germany and South Africa set about establishing the Daimler Chrysler Financial Services business from inception in SA.
Daimler Financial Services or Mercedes Benz Finance - have since gone on to become a leader in the Mercedes-Benz financing and associated financial services fields in SA.
After these initial 22 years in Financial Services - Wally has since been self employed for the past 16 years as a Business Strategist and Resourcing Solutions professional, providing Consulting, Advisory and Niche Resourcing solutions to leading business entities in the South African and Southern African region.
In 2007 – Wally was invited to joined the Barclays/Absa integration team to provide consulting and project management services into various work streams of the project involving the Barclays acquisition of Absa.
During this project at Absa - Wally focused upon several Human Resource, Leadership and Learning and Development project work streams.
The Barclays acquisition of Absa is still the largest foreign direct investment transaction in SA to date.
As a professional Resourcing Consultant, Wally has assisted a wide variety of business entities (including Government) from many different industries, with a view to optimising their overall business performance and professional resourcing needs.
In addition to his South African consulting activities, Wally has also delivered services to the Botswana Telecommunications industry, the Swaziland banking industry, the Brazilian sugar industry and the UAE fertilizer industry amongst many others.
Academically – Wally has studied Business Economics, Business Administration and Commercial Law with distinctions in Business Strategy/Planning and Tax from a leading South African business school.
